Pop Culture Bits: Jake and Tana, The Challenger Games, Henry Danger the Musical

Happy Friday! So much has been happening in the entertainment world recently, and I felt inspired to share some bits.

1) Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau's Wedding: In one of the quickest relationships fans and the press have ever seen, Jake and Tana have been YouTube buddies for the past few months. They're tying the knot in a livestream ceremony this weekend after The Challenger Games (see 2). Have any celebrities (not counting royals) livestreamed a wedding? Not as far as anyone knows. In Jake's most recent video both he and Tana seemed nervous about the wedding and all of the speedy planning they've had to do. Also, I haven't seen a time yet on Twitter for this. Odd. It took a while for anyone to believe that their relationship is realbut Logan cried when Jake asked him to be his best man. It's most likely legitimate.

2) The Challenger Games: Logan Paul organized this one, and it will also be live on YouTube this weekend. The Pauls are busy! It's a track meet for celebrities. All ticket sales go to charity. A couple of the celebrities are semi-professional athletes, which increases the competition. And Twitter has been a smackdown fest in preparation. There's no telling how long this livestream will be or if anyone injures herself because of a lack of training. This event could turn into inception with several celebrities recording their events. I guess that's the world of YouTube.

3) Henry Danger The Musical: If you know me well or have read some of my older posts, you know that I watch preteen/teen television. I would not have guessed a few months ago that the Nick show Henry Danger would ever do a musical episode. The show is quirky enough as it is with superheroes, villains, and odd plot lines. But someone saw fit to make a musical episodeand it's an hour long. According to a behind the scenes video, the cast records their own vocals, which is impressive. They are bringing back guest star Frankie Grande to cause the musical "curse." I guess if you enjoy Frankie's singing and dance moves, tune in for that? I'm honestly not sure if some of the characters will fit their songs. They could have had one character be tone deaf to add to the comedy.

What are you watching this weekend? Let me know on Twitter.
